The RunSpace Innovation Challenge, organized by the Industrial Development Administration (IDA), is now officially open for its 5th year!

We welcome talents from all backgrounds, nationalities, and age groups. In previous years, we’ve seen successful teams combining expertise in Engineering, Information Management, Business, Design, and Law to create groundbreaking space applications. Now, it’s your turn to define the frontier of space!

🔵 Two Main Categories

Implementation Category: Focuses on technical mastery and theoretical depth to enhance space technology and its practical applications.

Sponsor Special Topic: Partnering with Japanese lunar exploration company ispace. Challenge the "Micromission to the Moon" by proposing innovative payload design concepts (No hands-on required).

🔵 Theme & Scope

We welcome any innovative proposals related to space sector, including but not limited to: the Ground Equipment and Services, Satellite Manufacturing, Satellite Services and Satellite Launch, and more.

💰 Prize Pool & Rewards

Champion: NT$350,000

Runner-up: NT$150,000

Third Place: NT$100,000

Finalist Prize: Awarded to 15 selected teams.

👉 Bonus Prize Opportunity: Winners may have the chance to visit ispace headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, to present their proposals and network with leaders in the Japanese space industry supply chain.
